So, I've purchased the Min and the JL100.
The obvious points to consider and the differences to note are the significance in the size of the machines.
The Mini is clearly a toy machine and I wouldn't be recommending that to anyone other than as a first machine for a child.
The larger machine is a lot more substantial, still lightweight, but the bobbin case is different to the modern day drop in bobbins we generally see on the market.
I will be sewing a dress on each to see which can really be used as a beginner machine.
