"Fundamentals of Sewing"
Tuesday mornings 10-1pm (arrive to set up from 9.30am)

Learn the basics of a Sewing Machine, how to thread properly, troubleshooting tips and maintenance for a happy relationship with your machine smile emoticon Then practice skills making a fun little project.
Envelope Cushion, Appliqué Bunting, Apron with pocket, Make Up Roll
(subject to change - but will establish good dressmaking skills)

"Pattern to Dress"
Friday All Day - 10am - 4pm July 3, 10, 17, 24

£120 - bring your own machine, you will be required to buy a pattern (basic shift dress or skirt) fabric and notions for Week 2.

4 weeks of Sewing from a Pattern to Dress

Each week we will cover skills essential to using a pattern to making a garment. I will cover tips and tricks each week to guide you through each stage, bring a notepad and pen, and we will produce a set of samples for you to reinforce the knowledge and to keep as a reminder.
