Ideal Sewing Kit
I'm a bit of a Prym fan - if you haven't guessed by now. So the lovely people at Prym have given me some goodies to share out, so I hopped onto a Facebook page "fabric Addicts' to give away a couple of bits and bobs from the new Love range. I've asked them to cost out the list I've given them (see below) without going over to win a Prym Love purse kits.
I want to select the ideal sewing kit and I have suggested a list, see below, of things I would typically use when embarking on a new pattern project.
This list is not exhaustive and as any hobbyist knows, there's not limit to what we sewers 'need'.
In the photo, you can see the bits I will typically carry around with me.
pins
hand sewing needles
tape measure
long ruler
chalk pen
stitch ripper
embroidery scissors / snippers
large scissors
pinking shears
blue or aqua marking pen
fray check
small ruler, sewing gauge
magnetic pin cushion
wonder clips
tracing wheel and carbon paper
sewing bag / box to put it all in
I'm sure you guys will look at this list and start to ponder whether you need it all... over the next few blogs, I'll demonstrate each piece of equipment for you x
